I was very surprised to see this as a cos-play because he is my favorite all-time character!
Great job mate.!!
You got to be kidding me. oô
I love your eyes and I’m really jealous – look at your smooth skin! ♥ You can’t tell me, you have not used photoshop. Maybe a little bit? Gosh, your face is beautiful >___>
I have to be careful; my fangirl-mode is unpredictable.
Nevermind! Your cosplay is awesome, especially your boots. May I ask how long you’ve been working on the whole costume? I guess it has cost you a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Your seams look so much better than mine. This is … depressing!
Anyway, I’ve left you a watch and I’m looking forward to see more of your stuff. <3
I am starting my own Kuja cosplay and I was wondering if you'd tell me what kind of fabric you used for the boots. I'm thinking of trying vinyl, but as yours are essentially the effect I'm looking for, I thought I'd ask if you don't mind.
It's rare to see people resembling a character so much, especially when is a very complex, unique and particular one... but you did it PERFECTLY!
Seriously, you're the best Kuja I've ever seen!!!
This, combined to the high quality of these photographs, only leads to a fantastic result! Great job and truly amazing cosplay! (And new add to my watch list!)
You are seriously beautiful.
Square Enix and well, Japanese games and anime in general, tend to feature characters that are ridiculously pretty with outfits and body types that don't typically work or exist in the real world. Thank you for proving to me that it is actually possible for a male human being to look like Kuja. My mind is truly blown! lol ^_^
I have a question. I noticed in your profile that you list Dio as one of your favorite characters. Are you talking about Dio Elaclaire from Last Exile, because he is one of my absolute favorite characters too and I think you would make the PERFECT Dio. *wink wink, nudge nudge* : )
Also, I know you probably get this a lot but it took me several double-takes before I realized your pictures were not CGI stills from FF: Dissidia, lol, your Kuja cosplay is flawless.
Yes, Dio is an amazing character, I would agree. I've had an interest in becoming him. Hm, perhaps one day if luck is on my side. *smiling softly.*
CGI heh? It is actually a difficult thing for me to see it a such, because I know in which circumstances these photos were taken and what lightning was used.
But I understand you made the outfit and everything yourself? That's amazing, it looks so much like the original! And you have the face for it too, I think that's half the job, looking for the ones you sort of look like and go with it from there! Very nice work, the photographer too of course! It really has that in game movie feel to because of the lighting and I'm guessing some very amazing editing.
Anyway, congrats to both of you for the DD!!
I agree with the statement about attachment to villains as they aren't the typical ugly mad character. They have their own story and a reason to end up as they are.
To answer the question about the outfit, yes indeed.
And yes I do look at the characters that fits me best before anything else, but usually and luckily it goes along with my taste, or past crushes. As a kid Kuja was a character I could related to in some realistic ways. I try to go along those lines, I would never do something I don't care about or I am not particularly into.
Me and my photographers, before starting this project we made it clear that we wanted something cinematic and realistic. So that is the result of that work.
Thank you very much for the compliments. *bows graciously.*
And oh my, Quina. I bear so much love for all the characters.
